Health Care Reform Panel

The United State’s health care is the most expensive in the world, with nearly double the per capita cost and the highest percentage of the national GDP. It is currently ranked 37th globally, between Costa Rica and Slovenia.

Dr. Richard Quint will be speaking on Thursday, March 22 from 7:00 PM to 8:00 PM in 10 Evans. He is Professor Emeritus of pediatrics at UCSF, a member of the California Physician’s Alliance, and currently an instructor at the UCSF/UCB Joint Medical Program. This panel will discuss single payer health care, Governor Schwarzenegger’s proposal, and our other options. It will be sponsored by Cal Dems, the Cal Greens, and the Suitcase Clinic.
