2nd Annual Suitcase Clinic Benefit Concert

As our economy takes a downturn, many organizations that rely upon grants and donations experience an even more drastic reduction in funds and supplies, and the Suitcase Clinic is not an exception. It is our 21th anniversary this spring, and we would like to hold a concert with musical and dance performances by other student groups interested in our cause and also by a number of our very talented clients. Although we do not have a theme or title yet, we will make it clear that all profits made from this event will go directly to keeping our clinics and services running at full capacity.

Every semester, the majority of our budget goes to provide medical supplies for our medical service, and lenses for our optometry service. Each of these services cost us a number of thousands of dollars each semester, and the demand for these is always greater than the supply. Much of the money we earn from this event will be directed to these two services. Any money that we receive in order to fund this event will prevent other funds from being directed away from our vital services, as this semester our funds have been running dangerously low.
