Fifth Annual Suitcase Clinic Benefit Concert
The Suitcase Clinic is holding a concert with musical and dance performances by student groups, community members, and talented clients. All of the money that we make from this event will go directly toward sustaining our three clinics.
Every year, we spend over $25,000 to run the organization – a large part of our budget goes to provide medical, hygiene, and dental supplies/services for our homeless and low-income clients. Each of these services cost us a thousands of dollars each semester, and the demand for these is always greater than the supply. Much of the money we earn from this event will be directed to these services.
This semester we will be showcasing exciting acts from many talented campus groups including but not limited to:
- UC Men’s Octet
- Artists in Resonance
- Dil Se
- Theater Rice
- Cal Slam
- Jam Sessions at Berkeley
The concert will be held on Sunday, December 2, at 7 PM at 10 Evans on the UC Berkeley campus (click here for a large campus map). In addition, there will be signs and greeters outside the building to direct you to our concert and to your seats.
There is also an online silent auction going on, where we will be selling valuable items, such as a test prep course from Kaplan, Princeton Review, and Blueprint! Don’t miss out on some great deals and get started on the auction here!
We hope to see you there to support our campus community of performers and the Suitcase Clinic.
